I think whether they are heady lies or brave, stupid revelations of the truth depends on the person. They've always been the later for me, but usually the former for my lovers. How heartbreaking is that?
due to personal experience I try not to make any proclamations during those moments of passion and tend to take whatever is said to me with a grain of salt. ;) I'm sure, however, there are people out there who tell the truth at those times. my truth comes out after a few too many drinks. :P
