Are they bewitching, heady lies, or wide-eyed witnesses of the only times in our lives we are brave and stupid enough to tell the truth?
Someone asked me this question last night: What would the world be like if everything were perfect?
According to me, the world would then cease to exist. Because the only notion entirely congruent with that of perfection, is that of nothingness. Nothingness is all-encompassing, a primeval truth, fair, equitable, free of all prejudice and leniency. The state of no-being is the purest form of being.
that everything I say to you, everything I ask, is trite, fragile, irrelevant -- merely an excuse for words to pass between us.
